Installation Technician

To match the needs of our rapidly expanding global customer base, we are seeking an Installation Technician for our North America regional office in Tucson, Arizona.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for the installation of new MasterLink® systems at customer sites primarily throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Colombia, with occasional additional travel worldwide. You will run data, power, radio, and GPS antenna cables through bulkheads, panels, and accesses both in and outside production equipment compartments. You will also conduct various mounting, wiring, and testing of Modular Mining Systems field computer hardware and display panels once installed. The secondary function of this position is bench repairs in RMA in Tucson. This entails working on a repair bench troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and certifying operation of Modular Mining Systems components and 3rd party equipment sent in by customers for repair.

Applicants must have a 2-year degree or equivalent experience in the electronic repair field. Working knowledge of Windows XP and LINUX required. Knowledge of DISPATCH® or MasterLink® systems preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Applicants must also be able to lift 70 lbs and climb up and down stairs on mine production equipment, silos, crusher bays and roof lines.

This position requires extensive travel throughout the North America region and other regions as required. Assignments range from one day to four weeks at a time in the field.
