Technical Writer

Supporting these complex systems and cutting edge technology requires specialized and professional people who can make a difference. To match the needs of our rapidly expanding global customer base, we have an immediate need for a Technical Writer in our worldwide headquarters in Tucson, Arizona.

As a member of our Documentation Services team, you will work closely with hardware engineers, software engineers, test engineers, marketing personnel, and other technical writers to research and generate a variety of end-user manuals. Your efforts in creating quality documents for our mining products will have a highly visible impact on the company's success.

This is a temporary position with a duration of approximately six months.

Applicants must have excellent writing and organizational skills, demonstrating clear, concise, technically correct prose. Strong inter-personal skills are required for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with technical developers. Experience required with Microsoft Word, FrameMaker, and standard graphics and screen capture programs such as Paint and SnagIt. A minimum of three years of technical writing experience and a Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science or related field are required.
